I truly wish I was kidding, but this hotel smelled like farts. I was there 4 nights, and when I walked into the lobby the first night I assumed there was some plumbing issue going on. I soon realized that wasn’t the case—the lobby and the elevator just continuously smelled like farts, and it wasn’t subtle. Thank god the room didn’t smell or I would’ve had to leave.
Other than that, it was not great, but acceptable. I picked this hotel because it had a decent rate and included breakfast. Unfortunately, the breakfast was practically inedible. The room was not as clean as I’d prefer (the disposable cups were confusingly dirty, etc.) but overall it was acceptable. I will say the staff was very nice and helpful, and staying near the airport is good if you’re in the area to hike as you can get out of the city quickly in the mornings. But I wouldn’t stay there again, mostly because of the unfortunate smell.
There are some issues they need to work on but nothing is a show stopper. Staying for over a week and I'm probably a bit more demanding than some others, but they've done a great job. Would definitely recommend a deluxe room for an extended stay. Would be nice to have a proper side table (hard surface) to place drinks on next to the couch.
After my wife and I had our brief, horrific experience at the "Super Inn" (DO NOT GO THEIR!), we canceled that reservation and went to Sonesta in Tucson. The place is pretty nice and our room was super comfy. The one girl working at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The road by the main entrance looks like the 1,000lb twins were playing hopscotch on it, but overall, we had a great experience.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was nice. Bed was very comfortable and I liked the separate living and work space. The room was very clean.
The elevators were very old and worn. If those could be replaced it would elevate the ratings. Negative: ""
Rooms are decent, however I was here as a vendor for a gem show. And the safe was locked and unusable. When I asked if they could open the safe they said that they are unable to do that. They offered me a safe I can roll around with me but that would not work cuz I need a bolted down safe in the room. Additionally there was no blow dryer, so when I called and asked the front desk for a blow dryer they told me some rooms have them in some rooms don't and I was out of luck. Additionally I had to ask several times to clean the room every day before they finally started doing it the fourth day in. And also we found a syringe filled with some liquid wrapped in paper under the bed. When I was finally able to get the maids to clean the room it was done very poorly and several bits of trash were left behind. Highly recommend against staying here.
When we initially called to tell the hotel we¿d be late the woman we spoke with was incredibly rude and had a really bad attitude. Additionally the hallway light was out outside of our assigned room which made it a little dark and creepy. Negative: ""
I have never left a review, as I have never been compelled to leave a review. The room was fine until we discovered the toilet was broken and wouldn't flush. The front desk manager on duty was the most inconsiderate and rude person I have ever met. I understand not being able to perform a repair, however on a Friday night I would imagine a repair service would be on call for a prime night for people to stay, especially over a holiday weekend. The manner of which she conducted herself during the conservation and attitude throughout shows the lack of training and requirements this hotel chain places on their staff. I strongly discourage anyone from staying at this specific hotel and would caution stays at other hotels in this chain as this manager on duty represents your company, and is the worst representation i have ever encountered at a hotel.
The hotel staff member when we checked in was extremely nice and accommodating to our late check in. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast in the morning was delicious.
